Hello everyone, today I would love to mention TPIM Hunger Heroes in the Philippines. They are limitless and an amazing team to share the goodness. They hike mountains to distribute aid products and share goodness without boundaries. Turn Passion Into Mission Foundation, founded by Vel Vernandez in 2017. She is a young and amazing lady. I am so appreciative to be a guest in her story. In her story, we witness that bad things contribute to good and beautiful outcomes.I participate in their Feeding/Gift Giving project in St Bosco Church, Manila City. I’m appreciative for their hospitality, and all moments. We are touching people’s lives together and create unforgettable memories. We dance, sing, and have fun with full of joy. They organize Feeding and Giving Projects every month and several other projects. Now let's learn more together.

Sister Vel Vernandez, you’re an incredible person, you built the TPIM Foundation to fight sufferings in the Philippines. How do you decide touch people’s lives? Would you like to tell more about your journey?
Actually Revna..I started Turn Passion Into Mission because I'm sick. The veins on the left side of my brain ruptured last August 2017..I was diagnosed with Brain Arteriovenous Malformation. It's a very rare and congenital disease. I have tangled veins on the left frontal part of my brain. ‘I'm having seizures..' Tonic clonic seizures'
I am so sorry to hear that, Vel, how is your situation right now?
I'm still not healed until now. I have my maintenance for almost 8 years now.

In your story, we witness that bad things contribute to good and beautiful outcomes. How did you find your mission?
It started with my passion, which is my love for nature and mountaineering. I was hospitalized for almost 2 weeks, then I realized that I want to live my life to the fullest. Then I started mountaineering with this aim. We climbed mountains for so many hours just to reach some of the beneficiaries.
When I started mountaineering, I saw the situation of the kids and their families on those mountains I climbed. They are rich in natural resources, but inadequate in food, clothing, healthcare, education, and shelter. I gave them a piece of candy and chocolate, they were so happy and very appreciative.
And there I found my mission. I want to give them hope. I want to give them simple happiness. Then from there I found my mission.
That’s why we call "Turn Passion Into Mission"...

Thank you so much for all your answers, Dear Vel, I hope everything will be best for you. I believe when we share the goodness of OUR HEAVENLY FATHER, good things increase in all time with the help of JESUS CHRIST, we feel peace together.

GOD bless all of us. In every nation, kind, and tongue. If you will visit the Philippines, you may participate in TPIM as a volunteer. Also, you may donate for their projects. We need to continue to be part of the solution. We need to SERVE GOD. Sometimes we experience suffering in our lives. We need to continue to stay strong, Vel's story to important for remind us we shouldn't lose our hopes. Stay with hope. I love you, JESUS LOVES YOU:)
